Historically, silence has often been linked to negative feelings, such as suppression or loneliness. But more recently, there has been a wave of interest in silence as having much more positive associations. Ancient Eastern practices and Western scientific research come together to show that silence, understood and used in the right way, can raise self-awareness, enhance feelings of well-being, give space to step back and appreciate life, as well as a simple tool for peace and stillness.
 
Join us for an exploration of the different faces of silence.
 
Suman Kalra is a student of the Brahma Kumaris for 30 years and has played a pivotal role within the co-ordinating teams of some of their key UK locations. Her ability to sustain personal spiritual growth whilst working in a busy environment, strong organisational and leadership skills and intuitive sense of vision and direction have given her a wealth of insights and experience to share.
