Baisakhi is one of the important festivals for Sikhs and Hindus. A festival mainly celebrated in Punjab and Haryana, Baisakhi marks the harvesting of the first summer crop, or the rabi crops. It also marks the Sikh New Year when people give wishes to each other for a prosperous and happy life. Baisakhi is the festival that spreads peace and harmony.
