Roundtables for Intergenerational Dialogue
An afternoon celebrating Interfaith Week and in collaboration with Harrow Interfaith and London Multifaith Youth Centre.
Join us for an afternoon of intergenerational dialogue and conversation at the ‘Empowering Youth Voices’ Interfaith Week Event 2023, hosted collaboratively by Brahma Kumaris, Harrow Interfaith, National Multifaith Youth Centre and Brahma Kumaris.
The event aims to connect interfaith networks across London with the perspective of young individuals. We promise an insightful exploration into the power of dialogue, meditation, and intergenerational collaboration. Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are welcome to attend. Whether you’re passionate about social issues, interfaith dialogue, or youth empowerment, this event is for you. Come prepared to participate, learn, and contribute to meaningful conversations.
The afternoon will include a keynote talk from Gopal Bhachu, Chair of Harrow Interfaith, and interactive table discussions ending with a reflective meditation.
The topics for the discussion groups are:
- The Voice of the Refugee: exploring the narratives of refugees, shedding light on their challenges and triumphs.
- Personal Strength & Resilience: delving into the essence of personal strength and resilience during periods of tension and hardship.
- Our Reactions On Social Media: discussing the impact of social media and strategies for fostering productive online dialogue.
- Leadership in Times of Change: exploring effective leadership strategies in times of heightened conflict.
- Managing Eco-Anxiety: addressing the pressing issue of eco-anxiety and discussing sustainable solutions for a greener future.
