Sharing Common Ground - Enriching Our Experience
To mark National Interfaith Week, Radha and Kathryn will be sharing the enriching moments and insights gained from their encounters with other faiths over the years. Join them to explore how finding common ground can deepen community connection and strengthen shared values.

The conversation will be facilitated by Meera Javed who has been practising Raja Yoga meditation for over 40 years and is the coordinator of Brahma Kumaris
activities in Slough and surrounding areas.

Radha Gupta
Born to an Indian father and Scottish mother, Radha was introduced to Raja Yoga in her childhood.  Having grown up in India, she then came to the UK to pursue both her academic and spiritual studies.  However, for more than 20 years, she has been living in Rome where she is a member of the national coordinating team for the Brahma Kumaris in Italy.  Radha represents the Brahma Kumaris in Italy at Interreligious forums and events organised by the Vatican’s Dicastery of Interreligious Dialogue.

Kathryn Hendry
For over 40 years, Kathryn has travelled widely, living and serving in different countries on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris. Now based in Edinburgh, in her native Scotland, she continues to share her passion for meditation, spiritual education and interfaith engagement.  Kathryn has been actively involved in interfaith dialogue and cooperation since the 1980s, bringing people of different faiths and cultures together to foster mutual understanding, respect and peace.
